Jorhat

(Majuli island)

Cross the Brahmaputra River by ferry, and visit the world largest sandbar Majuli island. Visit the village of Mishing and the Vishnu temple. Touch the religion of Assam people and round Majuli island for a day.

(Hoollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary)
Jorhat

Kaziranga

In the morning, head to Hoollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary.  Truck on the tail in the forest to search apes such as Hoolock Gibbon and Capped Langur (about 2 hours). Then, head to Kaziranga by a private car.  In the afternoon, enjoy the jeep safari in the Kaziranga National Park.

In the morning, enjoy the elephant safari in the Kaziranga National Park.  Then, see you off at the Jorhat airport by a private car.

Salient Information

Kaziranga National Park
Every year, in the period from 1st May through 31st October falls in a rainy season, so the park is closed. Depend on the starting of rainy season, the closing of park may become earlier.
Elephant Safari
An elephant safari may be stopped operating, due to a population research would be conducted for animals in the park.
Tea-picking
Assam tea-picking is conducted from March through November. In this period, you can view the scenery of tea-picking and the tea production factory. If you want to do, please consult us.

The world best habitat of Indian rhinoceros Kaziranga National Park

Longer than 100 years since its establishment, this national park is said the most successful park to protect the wild animals in India. In the early 1900s, the number of Indian rhinoceros dropped to 20s or 30s heads by hunting, however, it is recovered to the number of more than 2300 heads, today. Also, the number of Bengal tigers inhabit is more than 100 heads that is the number 1 in India. (Source: research in 2013) The parks face to the rivers of Brahmaputra and its tributaries have the wetlands and many wild birds, water buffalos, Barasingha and elephants, etc. inhabit. This tour is designed having two safari tours; an elephant safari riding on the back of elephant to approach the Indian rhinoceroses, and a jeep safari.

Hoollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary

Hoolock Gibbon (Male)

In the morning, walk in the forest in time for the activity hour of Gibbons (long-armed apes). The Gibbons live by a couple with a child. In the forest of this sanctuary, 30 families and 150 heads of Gibbons are confirmed. Also, Capped Langurs and Cynomolgus Monkies inhabit. Walking on the forest trail for about 2 hours, enjoy watching the wild animals.
